He most recently served as Executive for Business & Commercial Clients at Stanbic Bank Ghana, where he provided strategic leadership and drove business growth and performance. He began his career at Barclays Bank (now Absa), becoming the bank’s youngest Regional Manager at age 26 before serving as Head of Retail and Distribution. At Stanbic, he earned recognition for his strategic vision, customer-focused leadership, and ability to transform businesses and drive sustainable growth. Farihan brings extensive expertise in business development, operations, credit and risk management, and leadership. A strong advocate for team development, he is also skilled in coaching, training, and building high-performing teams. He is currently the Managing Director of Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB).
