Dr. Ebenezer Forkuo Amankwaa

is a Human Geographer whose research spans urban studies, inclusive development, and environmental sustainability. His work addresses heterogeneous infrastructure, informality, mobility, livelihoods, environmental health, governance, well-being, and climate change. He has collaborated on major international projects and advised industry and government in Ghana, with his research shaping urban policy and delivering practical interventions. Passionate about community-oriented science, he empowers marginalized groups, nurtures young scientists, and promotes youth climate action and grassroots change. A Senior Lecturer at the University of Ghana and awardee of Best Overall Researcher in the College of Humanities, he is also an Affiliate Member of AAS, a Future Africa Fellow, an ASLP Fellow, and a Visiting Scholar at Loughborough University
