Mrs. Sarah Norkor Anku Esq.

is a prominent Intellectual Property (IP) Attorney with extensive
experience in the field. She is the Managing Partner at SN ANKU IP FIRM (Ghana, Nigeria,
The Gambia and USA) and a Senior Partner at ANKU.ANKU AT-LAW (Ghana and Nigeria).
Sarah has a diverse educational background, including an LLM in Alternative Dispute
Resolution from the University of Ghana and Masters in Intellectual Property from Africa
University in Zimbabwe.
Her expertise spans copyright, patent, trademark and industrial design law, due diligence,
commercialization of IP and enforcement of IPRs. Sarah is also a distinguished lecturer on the
MPhil Intellectual Property programme at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and
Technology.
She has been instrumental in advising governments and organizations on formulating and
implementing IP policies to foster innovation and economic growth.
Sarah has published extensively on the subject matter including the Ghana country copyright
guide for the 2025 International Comparative Law Guides (ICLG – Copyright 2025, 11th
Edition). Her latest book on “Monetizing Your Creativity: An Introduction to Intellectual
Property” has been approved by the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment
(NaCCA) as a reading material for schools in Ghana.
